Rear: Sterling 10.25" from 1987 F-350, 5.13 Gears, Detroit No-Spin locker, drum brakes. Custom driveshaft from A-1 Driveshaft.

37" SSR Radial tires.

Another shot of the rear hanger, image out of foucus but it shows the center of where we redrilled the stock hanger. Looks like about 2" from the lip of the hanger to the center of the bolt.

I used two peices of 1/4" plate steel about 6" x 8" and made template to "fit" what I had. When I drilled the holes I had both peices tack welded together. then they were cut out with a plasma cutter. The diameter of the Sterling 10.25" axle is 3....

Side view of shackle mount. The front hole in the mount is where the shackle will bolt in. The top of the 2x2 was cut back to allow the shackle to swing forward and backward with the axle.

Closeup detail of where the square tubing for the actuall shackle mounts. It was 7" from the left end of the tube on my install. Yours might be a little different.
